Frequently Asked Questions
Can I submit for more than one category?
Of course! There is no limit on the number of entries per company and it is free to apply.
Can I submit myself or others?
Any IT professional or team who uses Lightyear is eligible for nomination, and nominations can be for your team, yourself or a colleague.
What is the selection process?
All qualifying entries are reviewed and voted on by the Lightyear Awards Panel of independent judges. To ensure the process is completely unbiased and objective, judges are not allowed to comment on or vote for entries from their own institutions.
What key dates should I be aware of?
The Luminaries Award submissions open on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. The final deadline for submissions is EDT Friday, August 30, 2024. The Virtual Awards Ceremony will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
When will the finalists be announced?
Finalists will be notified in September via email and will be announced on this website prior to the conference.
When are winners announced?
Winners will be announced at the virtual Lightyear of Luminaries Award Ceremony on Tuesday, September 24. While you are not required to attend, we encourage you and your team to be present. If you are a finalist, you will be honored in front of the industry’s top professionals and fellow Lightyear users. It’s a great opportunity to promote your company and team achievements.
